Cheese and Charcuterie Waffles

A perfect recipe to use up leftovers from a raclette. Use Bintje potatoes and viande des grisons or prosciutto. Variation: use sheep or goat cheese.

Instructions

  • 1.   Wash the potatoes and place them in a pot filled with cold water.
  • 2.   Cook for about twenty minutes, until the potatoes are cooked.
  • 3.   Drain the potatoes, peel them, and mash them using a potato masher. Season.
  • 4.   Add the eggs one by one and mix.
  • 5.   Crumble the charcuterie roughly and add it.
  • 6.   Cut the cheese into cubes and add it.
  • 7.   Mix.
  • 8.   Put 2 tablespoons of the mixture into a hot waffle iron.
  • 9.   Cook for 3 to 5 minutes.
  • 10.   Serve with a salad.

  • 3 eggs
  • 80 g of cured ham
  • 80 g of Grisons meat (optional)
  • 100 g of sheep cheese
  • 100 g of goat cheese (optional)
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
