Almond Cake

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat your oven to 160 °C (320 °F).
  • 2.   Flavor your vanilla sugar with a little orange blossom extract. Whisk the eggs, flavored sugar, and regular sugar together. Then add the honey while continuing to whisk. Next, add the almond powder and mix again. Pour in the orange blossom extract, salt, and orange zest. Mix everything well. Finally, add the mascarpone and butter, and mix one last time until you have a homogeneous mixture.
  • 3.   Pour the mixture into a greased 20 cm (8 inch) cake pan and sprinkle with sliced almonds.
  • 4.   Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, depending on your oven, until you achieve a beautiful golden color.
