Cauliflower Carbonara Penne

Instructions

  • 1.   Cut the cauliflower into small pieces, including the florets and stems. Put them in a saucepan with the milk and crumbled bouillon cube. Bring to a gentle boil and simmer covered for 15 minutes.
  • 2.   Sauté the bacon in a pan with olive oil.
  • 3.   Cook the penne according to the instructions on the package. At the end of the cooking time, add the frozen peas and drain.
  • 4.   Off the heat, add one-third of the grated Emmental cheese to the saucepan with the cauliflower. Blend finely until you obtain a creamy sauce. Adjust the seasoning.
  • 5.   Mix the sauce with the penne and peas. Add the drained bacon and serve with the remaining grated Emmental cheese.
