Sautéed Garlic Broccoli

What we love about Chinese cuisine is that the dishes are light yet flavorful. Try this recipe for sautéed garlic broccoli, it goes well with any main dish, whether it's fish or poultry!

Instructions

  • 1.   Bring a large pot of water to a boil with a generous pinch of salt.
  • 2.   Once the water is boiling, reduce the heat and add the broccoli. Let it cook for 1 minute, then immediately transfer it to ice water to blanch.

    Drain.
  • 3.   In a hot wok, add a drizzle of olive oil.

    Sauté the Sichuan pepper for a few seconds.

    Add the broccoli, stir, and add the minced garlic.
  • 4.   Season with salt and mix well.

    Sauté for a few minutes, then remove from heat.
  • 5.   Before serving, add a spoonful of sesame oil and mix.

  • 500 g of broccoli
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 vegetable oil
  • 1 pinch of whole Sichuan pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • salt (according to taste)
