Chicken Drumsticks with Curry

Creamy curry sauce, easy and perfect for a light dinner. To vary, replace leeks with carrots and curry with cumin!!!

Instructions

  • 1.   Chop the onion and garlic and cut the leek (or carrot).
  • 2.   In a high heat casserole dish, heat the olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic for 2 minutes.
  • 3.   Add the drumsticks, season with salt and pepper, then grill the skin well for 2 minutes.
    Add the leek and grill for 1 minute.
  • 4.   Dissolve the bouillon cube in water, then pour into the casserole dish and let it cook for 5 minutes, then reduce the heat.
  • 5.   On low heat, add the cream, curry (or cumin), and let it cook for another 10 minutes.
  • 6.   Serve with the side dish of your choice.

  • 4 chicken drumsticks
  • 1 onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 leek
  • 70 ml of heavy cream
  • ½ chicken bouillon cubes
  • 60 ml of water
  • 1 teaspoon of curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil
