Vegan Almond Pear Tart

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F).

    Cut the pears in half, remove the core, peel, and set aside.
    Mix the margarine with powdered sugar using a fork until it becomes a light cream.

    Add the liquid cream, brown sugar, cornstarch, almond powder, and almond extract, and mix everything together.

    Spread the puff pastry in a tart dish. Prick the bottom with a fork to prevent it from puffing up.

    Pour the mixture over the pastry. Arrange the pear halves on top.

    Bake for about 45 minutes (+/- depending on the oven) or until the tart is nicely golden.

  • 20 cl of liquid vegetable cream
  • 50 g of brown sugar
  • 10 g of Cornstarch
  • 130 g of almond powder
  • 4 large pear
  • 1 puff pastry
  • ¼ teaspoon of bitter almond flavor (optional)
