Homemade Cereal Balls

Small bites of cereal with raisins and chocolate for snacking.

Instructions

  • 1.   In a saucepan, melt the honey with the butter over very low heat.
  • 2.   Off the heat, add the brown sugar, then the oat flakes, yeast, chocolate chips, and raisins.
  • 3.   Add an egg white if the previous mixture is not sticky enough to form balls that hold together.
  • 4.   On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, make small tightly packed balls using a spoon.
  • 5.   Mix the egg yolk with a little water and brush it onto the balls (to make them golden).
  • 6.   Bake in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for 10 to 12 minutes, keeping a close eye on them.

  • 50 g of raisin
  • 50 g of brown sugar
  • 60 g of butter
  • 200 g of oat flake
  • 50 g of chocolate chip
