Zucchini, Potato, and Tofu Gratin

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • 2.   Chop the garlic and onions and evenly distribute them in an oven-safe dish. Mine measures 27x18x6 cm (10.6x7.1x2.4 inches).
  • 3.   Slice the potatoes thinly and evenly distribute them over the garlic and onions. (I made 3 layers of potato slices, but it will depend on the size of your baking dish).
  • 4.   Drizzle soy sauce and sprinkle cayenne pepper over the potatoes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • 5.   Crumble the tofu and evenly distribute it.
  • 6.   Slice the zucchini and evenly distribute it over the tofu.
  • 7.   Cover with heavy cream and slices of mozzarella, and sprinkle with gruyère cheese for a slightly gratiné effect.
  • 8.   Bake in the oven at 200°C (400°F) for 45 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.

  • 3 large potato
  • 2 zucchinis
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 onion
  • 160 g of flavored tofu
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 pinch of Cayenne pepper
  • 25 cl of heavy cream
  • 50 g of grated emmental
  • 1 mozzarella
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
