Instructions

  • 1.   Peel and slice the onion. Peel and crush the garlic cloves.
    Pour the soy sauce, water, sugar, 2 tablespoons of grape seed oil, and vinegar into the pot. Add the bay leaf and crushed black pepper.

    Arrange the chicken thighs, separated in two, in the pot. Place the pot on the stove and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce the heat, and cook for 30 minutes.

    Turn the chicken thighs and continue cooking for another 15 minutes, still covered. Finish with 15 minutes of uncovered cooking. Serve immediately.
