My recipe for country-style baked eggs

Instructions

  • 1.   Remove the rind and cut the bacon into large cubes.
    In a hot pan, caramelize the bacon. Cut the button mushrooms into quarters and add them to the bacon. Cut the lettuce into large strips and add it to the bacon. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

    Preheat the oven to 150°C (300°F).
    Pour the cream into 4 ramekins. Season with salt and pepper, then add the filling, distributing it around the edges. Place a piece of Chaource cheese in each ramekin and crack an egg on top. Place the ramekins in a baking dish, add hot water to three-quarters full, and bake for 15 minutes.
