Cauliflower gratin

Instructions

  • 1.   Cook the cauliflower in boiling salted water for 10 minutes.
  • 2.   Make a béchamel sauce: melt the butter in a saucepan and add the flour. Make a roux with a whisk and gradually add the milk, reducing the sauce.
  • 3.   Season with nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
  • 4.   In a gratin dish, create a layer of cauliflower, a layer of bacon, another layer of cauliflower, pour the sauce on top, and finally sprinkle with gruyère cheese to gratin.
  • 5.   Bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes.
