Recipe No. 5: Shepherd's Pie with companion

Instructions

  • 1.   1 Preheat the oven to 220 °C (th.7). Peel the onion and put it in the robot with the ultrablade chopping knife. Blend on Turbo for 10 seconds. Add the meat, tomato sauce, and parsley, then blend on Turbo for 20 seconds. Use a spatula to bring the mixture towards the center and blend for 10 seconds.
  • 2.   2 Grease a gratin dish and pour the mixture into it. Clean the robot.
  • 3.   3 Peel the potatoes and cut them into large cubes. Pour 0.7 L of water into the robot and place the potatoes in the steam basket. Start the steam program for 30 minutes.
  • 4.   4 Drain the water, then put the cooked potatoes and butter in the robot with the kneading/crushing knife, and blend on speed 6 for 1 minute 30 seconds. Taste and adjust the seasoning according to your taste.
  • 5.   5 Spread the mashed potatoes over the meat and cover with grated cheese. Bake for 15 minutes. Serve hot.
