Instructions

  • 1.   1 Peel the carrots and onion, cut them into pieces. Cut the salted pork into 4 long slices. In the food processor fitted with the ultrablade knife, put the onion and mix at speed 11 for 10 seconds.
  • 2.   2 Replace the knife with the mixer. Add the carrots, oil, and start the simmer program P1 at 130 °C for 5 minutes.
  • 3.   3 At the end of the program, add the lentils, salted pork, sausages, veal stock, cornstarch, bay leaf, and 1 L of water. Start the simmer program P2 at 95 °C for 45 minutes. Serve hot.

Notes & Suggestions

  • Tip
    For a quick version, sauté 1 onion in the food processor, add 250 g of canned lentils, 4 sausages, and start cooking at speed 1 at 95 °C for 15 minutes.
