Spinach and carrot gratin with onions

Instructions

  • 1.   Peel and slice the onions and carrots.
  • 2.   Steam them along with the spinach for 10 minutes.
  • 3.   Prepare the sauce:
  • 4.   In a saucepan, melt the butter with the mustard diluted in the sour cream. Season with salt and pepper.
  • 5.   In a gratin dish, arrange the spinach at the bottom, cover with the onions and carrots, then pour the sauce over them.
  • 6.   Sprinkle grated gruyère cheese on top and broil for 10 minutes.

  • 500 g of carrot
  • 10 white onions
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 3 sprig of tarragon
  • 20 g of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of mustard
  • 10 cl of sour cream
  • 50 g of grated Gruyère cheese
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 1 pinch of salt
