Mustard Potato Gratin

Instructions

  • 1.   Steam the potatoes, then peel and slice them.
  • 2.   Prepare the sauce: in a bowl, mix the mustard, cream, and milk. Season with salt, pepper, and add the chives.
  • 3.   Butter a gratin dish, then layer the first layer of potatoes. Top with bacon bits and half of the gruyère cheese, then add the second layer of potatoes.
  • 4.   Pour the sauce over the potatoes and sprinkle the remaining gruyère cheese on top.
  • 5.   Bake for 10 to 15 minutes at 210°C (410°F) (thermostat 6). Keep an eye on the cooking time as it may vary depending on the oven.

  • 100 g of grated Gruyère cheese
  • 3 tablespoon of mustard
  • 25 cl of liquid fresh cream
  • 25 cl of milk
  • 1 pinch of pepper

  • 1 pinch of chives
