Leek, bacon, and Comté cheese pasta gratin

Instructions

  • 1.   Cook the pasta in a pot of boiling water according to the instructions on the packaging. Drain well.
    In a large sauté pan, brown the bacon slices without adding any fat. Set aside.
    Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
    Finely slice the leeks. Add a drizzle of olive oil to the sauté pan and cook the leeks for 10 minutes.
    Mix the cooked pasta, finely sliced bacon, leeks, cream, mustard, salt, and pepper. Spread the mixture in a gratin dish and sprinkle with grated Comté cheese.
    Bake for about ten minutes until golden and bubbly.
