Leek gratin

Instructions

  • 1.   Wash and slice the leeks. In a pan, melt 10g of butter and sauté the leeks for 15 minutes over medium heat.
  • 2.   Cut the slices of ham into pieces.
  • 3.   Prepare the béchamel sauce by melting the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add the flour and whisk together. Gradually pour in the milk while continuously stirring to avoid lumps. Off the heat, add half of the Parmesan cheese, the diced ham, salt, pepper, and mix well.
  • 4.   Spread the cooked leeks in a gratin dish and cover them with the ham béchamel sauce. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese on top and bake for 20 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
