Chicken and Rice Gratin ONE DAY ONE RECIPE 👌

Instructions

  • 1.   Cook the rice for about 10 minutes in a pot of salted boiling water. Drain the rice.
  • 2.   Cut the chicken breasts into pieces and sauté them in a pan with a knob of butter.
  • 3.   Prepare the béchamel sauce by melting the butter in a saucepan. Add the flour and whisk together. Off the heat, gradually pour in the milk while continuously stirring. Add half of the grated gruyère cheese, salt, and pepper.
  • 4.   Add the chicken pieces to the béchamel sauce and mix. Pour into the bottom of a gratin dish. Cover with the rice and then the remaining grated gruyère cheese. Bake for 20 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
