Confit garlic

Instructions

  • 1.   Separate the garlic cloves and keep their skin.
    Put them in a saucepan with black pepper, salt, and thyme.
    Cover with olive oil.
    Heat to 80°C or 90°C.
    Let it confit for about 45 minutes, then let it cool.
    Using a large spoon, place the garlic cloves in a previously sterilized jar.
    Pour the olive oil from the saucepan over it, straining it through a sieve.
    Store in the refrigerator.

  • 1 olive oil
