Spinach, date, and almond salad

Instructions

  • 1.   Cut the pita bread into 4 cm strips
  • 2.   Roughly crush the almonds and sauté them in a pan with butter and pita bread (until the bread is golden and crispy, medium heat for about 10 minutes)
  • 3.   Let the bread and almond mixture cool down.
    Cut the dates lengthwise into quarters.
    Slice the onion.
    Marinate the dates and onions in a dish with 2 tablespoons of vinegar (for 20 minutes).
    Then drain any excess vinegar if necessary.
  • 4.   Clean the spinach leaves, place them in a large salad bowl, add the dates, the cooled bread, and then the lemon juice and olive oil. Mix well and enjoy!

  • 2 tablespoon of lemon juice

  • 100 g of date
