Crispy Turnip Fries

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and add a little oil.
  • 2.   Peel the turnips and cut them into julienne strips. Place them in a bowl. Add olive oil and make sure the fries are well coated.
  • 3.   Add paprika, garlic salt, onion salt, as well as salt and freshly ground pepper.
  • 4.   Spread the fries on the baking sheet.
  • 5.   Bake for 15 minutes. Flip and bake for another 10 minutes!
  • 6.   Serve with a good maple mayonnaise or another mayonnaise.

Notes & Suggestions

  • It is possible to use rutabaga as a substitute for turnips.
