Vegetable and Chicken Pasta Gratin

Instructions

  • 1.   Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to the package instructions (about 8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  • 2.   Cut the chicken fillets into small cubes.

    Wash the zucchini and cut them into half-moons.

    Peel the carrots and cut them into thin slices.

    Slice the onion.
  • 3.   In a skillet, heat the olive oil.

    Sauté the onion for 2-3 minutes until translucent.

    Add the chicken cubes and brown them for about 5 minutes.

    Then add the zucchini and carrots, sauté for another 5 minutes so they remain slightly crunchy.
  • 4.   In a gratin dish, mix the cooked pasta with the chicken and vegetables.

    Pour the cream or milk over it.

    Season with salt, pepper, and a little bit of Herbes de Provence if you like.

    Generously sprinkle grated cheese on top.
  • 5.   Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 20 minutes, until the gratin is golden brown and the vegetables are tender.

  • 10 cl of cream
  • 1 tablespoon of Provence herb
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
