Roasted Hazelnuts

Roast hazelnuts in the oven

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
    Once your oven is preheated, place the baking sheet on the middle rack.
    Let the hazelnuts roast for about 6 minutes in the hot oven, then check them.
  • 2.   Spread your shelled hazelnuts on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  • 3.   If they smell like hazelnuts and have slightly browned, they are ready. If not, continue checking them every minute or so.
    Watch them closely to prevent them from burning.
  • 4.   If you want to roast them for longer and at a slower pace, you can roast them at 125 °C (250 °F) for 15 to 20 minutes.
