Let the hazelnuts roast for about 6 minutes in the hot oven, then check them.
2. Spread your shelled hazelnuts on a baking sheet in a single layer.
3. If they smell like hazelnuts and have slightly browned, they are ready. If not, continue checking them every minute or so.
Watch them closely to prevent them from burning.
4. If you want to roast them for longer and at a slower pace, you can roast them at 125 °C (250 °F) for 15 to 20 minutes.
