2. Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onions and bacon. Sauté for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring. Once golden brown, set aside.
3. In the same pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil over high heat. Add the pan-fried gnocchi and cook for 2 minutes, stirring. Cover and continue cooking for 3 minutes over low heat, until golden brown.
4. Reduce the heat to medium, then add the bacon/onion mixture back to the pan. Then add the cream and parmesan. Season with salt and pepper and continue cooking for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring.
5. Serve the gnocchi carbonara style on a plate. Sprinkle with parmesan and season to taste. It's ready!
