Caramelized turnip sauté

Instructions

  • 1.   1. Clean the turnips under water and trim them.

    1. Steam the turnips for 12 to 15 minutes.


    2. Heat water for the rice. Bring it to a boil and cook according to package instructions.


    3. Pour olive oil into a skillet and sauté the turnips for 5 minutes until golden.


    4. In a small bowl, mix 1 tbsp of honey with ginger and white balsamic vinegar.


    5. Pour into the skillet and let it caramelize for 5 minutes while stirring.


    Serve with rice.
