Parsnip gratin with béchamel sauce

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • 2.   Peel the parsnips and cut them into slices.
  • 3.   Place the parsnips in boiling water and let them cook for 20 minutes.

    Season with salt and pepper.
  • 4.   Chop the garlic and onion.
  • 5.   In the bottom of a gratin dish, spread the garlic, onion, and half of the cream.

    Mix well.
  • 6.   Add the parsnips, then the other half of the cream with the chopped chives.
  • 7.   Sprinkle with gruyère cheese. Bake for 20 minutes. Serve!
