Instructions

  • 1.   1. Cut off a portion of the green part of the leeks. Split them open, rinse them under cold water, making sure to remove any dirt lodged between the leaves.

    Drain them and cut them into 5 cm pieces.
  • 2.   2. Cook the leek pieces for 35 minutes in a large pot of salted boiling water.
  • 3.   3. Place them in a buttered gratin dish. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and Comté cheese.
  • 4.   4. Brown the leek gratin with Comté cheese for 5 minutes in the preheated oven at 210°C.
