Pan-fried endives with soy sauce

Instructions

  • 1.   1. Remove the outer leaves of the endives if they are wilted or discolored. Cut off the base and remove a bit of the cone, which is very bitter.

    Wash them under cold water.
  • 2.   2. On a cutting board, slice the endives into approximately 1 cm thick rounds.
  • 3.   3. In a frying pan, heat a drizzle of oil. Add the endives and the soy sauce.

    Let them cook over medium heat for 5 to 10 minutes.

    The endives can be tender or slightly crunchy, it's up to you to choose!
