American Pancakes (Easy and quick)

One of the best pancake recipes I've tried. If you want to make any modifications to one of my recipes, Please let me know beforehand in order to always keep the original recipe.

American Vegetarian Pancakes Public

Cooking time: 5 minutes

Instructions

  • 1.   In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • 2.   In a separate bowl, crack the eggs and beat them with a whisk.
  • 3.   Add the sugar and vanilla sugar, then mix well.
  • 4.   Gradually incorporate the cornmeal.
  • 5.   Add the oil and mix well.
  • 6.   Gradually add the mixture (Flour, Baking powder, Salt)
  • 7.   Alternate with a little milk if it becomes too thick.
  • 8.   Add the remaining milk.

Notes & Suggestions

  • It is preferable to prepare the batter the night before and let it rest in the refrigerator for breakfast.
  • Enjoy with a good maple syrup... or Nutella or jam (it's up to you!)
  • Adjusted ingredient weights:
    80 g of sugar (about 180 ml) -> 4 tablespoons
    55 g of fine cornmeal (if not available, cornstarch) -> 3 tablespoons
    135 g of wheat flour -> 6 tablespoons
    15 cl of corn or sunflower oil
    30 cl of milk
    1 sachet of vanilla sugar
    1 sachet of baking powder
    A pinch of salt
