Yakiniku don (Japan)

Instructions

  • 1.   Sauté the onion over low heat until it becomes translucent, then add the minced garlic, sugar, and bell peppers. When the mixture starts to brown, add the beef slices and stir everything with wooden chopsticks.
  • 2.   Once the meat is cooked, add the soy sauces (concentrated + regular), along with the sake. Let it reduce a little, then lower the heat and pour in the water + cornstarch mixture. The sauce will thicken. If it becomes too thick, feel free to add a little more water.
  • 3.   Serve with rice.
