Beef Satay (Thailand)

Recipe for satay sauce on the side

Instructions

  • 1.   Cut the beef fillet into thin slices. Mix soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil, salt, and pepper.
  • 2.   Add the beef slices to this marinade, stirring, and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • 3.   Heat the wok, pour in the remaining oil. Add the drained beef and stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • 4.   Remove the beef from the wok and add the onions. Stir-fry for 1 to 2 minutes, until they become translucent.
  • 5.   Add the three sauces and broth, then stir over medium heat until well combined.
  • 6.   Return the beef to the sauce and stir-fry to coat it with the sauce. Cover the wok with a lid and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes over medium heat. Sprinkle with cilantro before serving.

  • 1 teaspoon of powdered chili
  • 3 tablespoon of meat broth
  • 1 bunch of fresh coriander
