1. Peel the onion and roughly chop it. Put it in the robot equipped with the Ultrablade Chopper and mix on Speed 11 for 10 seconds. If necessary, push the onion back to the center with the help of a spatula and mix again for 10 seconds.
2. Replace the blade with the Mixer. Crush the garlic clove with the blade of a knife. Put it in the robot with the olive oil, ras-el-hanout, and bay leaf. Start the Stew Program P1 at 130 °C for 4 minutes.
3. Peel the vegetables and cut them into pieces, large cubes for the zucchini, thin slices for the carrots and turnips. Remove the skin from the chicken thighs.
4. At the end of the program, add the broth, chicken, tomato paste, and vegetables. Season with salt and pepper, then start the Stew Program P2 at 95 °C for 50 minutes. Add the canned chickpeas 8 minutes before the end of cooking.
5. Meanwhile, prepare the couscous as indicated on the packaging.
