Easy Yogurt Cake

The easy yogurt cake is one of the great classics of our childhood desserts. Not only is it simple to make, it is also very tasty and loved by both kids and adults. You can even customize it by adding some fruits like fresh raspberries, quartered apples, or dried fruits (raisins, figs, prunes...). In short, enjoy!

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • 2.   In a bowl, pour the yogurt. Clean the container that will be used to measure the other ingredients.
  • 3.   Add the granulated sugar and the eggs. Mix vigorously with a wooden spoon until the batter slightly whitens.
  • 4.   Then add the neutral oil, flour, and baking powder. Stir well until you obtain a homogeneous batter.
  • 5.   Pour into a buttered and floured loaf pan or round cake pan.
  • 6.   Bake for 35 minutes.
  • 7.   Check the doneness by inserting a knife blade into the center of the yogurt cake. It is done when the blade comes out clean. Unmold onto a wire rack and let cool.
  • 8.   Serve your easy yogurt cake for a snack or dessert.
