Turkey Fricassee with Tomatoes

Turkey is a very lean meat that lends itself to many cooking methods. In stews, consider adding tomatoes for an even more tender meat.

Instructions

  • 1.   Slice the turkey fillet.
  • 2.   Brown the meat in a greased pan.
  • 3.   Add the sliced onions, garlic, tomato sauce, sprinkle with thyme, season with salt and pepper, and let simmer for about thirty minutes.
  • 4.   At the end of cooking, thicken the sauce with the heavy cream.
  • 5.   Simmer for about ten minutes and serve.

  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 3 tablespoon of thick sour cream
  • 3 onions
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 pinch of dried thyme
