1. In a large pot, heat the lentils with the juice over low heat (+ see note)
Blend the mixture, adjust the consistency (water, cream, etc.) and mix.
2. Slice the sausages and add them to the soup.
Heat for a few minutes.
Notes & Suggestions
At our house, this is a 2-in-1 dish. In step 1: I scoop out some lentils with a slotted spoon to serve as a side dish with a meal, then I blend the rest to make the soup.
Choose "prepared" lentils ... Of course, you can choose to cook dried lentils with onions and carrots, but it takes much longer!
