Instructions

  • 1.   Mix the yeast and milk. Let it rest at room temperature for 5 minutes.
  • 2.   Make a well with the flour and place the salt, yeast, and egg yolks in the center.
  • 3.   Mix well, gradually adding the milk.
  • 4.   Set aside for 4 hours.
  • 5.   Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and gently fold them into the mixture.
  • 6.   Cook each blini in a small buttered skillet, no larger than 12 cm.

  • 2 eggs
  • 10 g of dried baker's yeast
  • 20 cl of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of butter
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)

    Hello, I would like to make them, there are inconsistencies unless I misunderstood. In step 1, there is the yeast (5g) that we have to mix with the milk (10 cl). In step 2, you say to mix the yeast, eggs, etc. and in step 3 to add the milk. But how can we add the yeast in step 2 since it is already mixed with the milk? And how can we slowly add the milk (in step 3) since it is with the yeast?
