Quick Onion Tart

Instructions

  • 1.   Sauté the finely sliced onions in a pan with oil, season with salt and pepper.
  • 2.   Beat the eggs with the heavy cream.
  • 3.   Once the onions have turned golden, remove from heat and add the egg/cream mixture.
  • 4.   Pour everything onto the rolled-out pie crust in a pie dish, bake for 30 minutes in a 200°C (392°F) oven.

  • 2 eggs
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)

    In order to make it less fatty, I replaced the cream with skimmed milk and added 2 tablespoons of cornstarch.
