French Cucumber and Radish Sprout Maki Rolls

Instructions

  • 1.   Remove the ends of the cucumber, cut it into sections, and remove the seeds using a melon baller. Wrap each surimi stick in 1 or 2 basil leaves, then slide them into the cucumber sections, trimming any excess with a small knife.
  • 2.   Wrap each cucumber section with a slightly moistened strip of seaweed to form the maki rolls. Serve them with a few radish sprouts and soy sauce. You can also cut each maki roll into 3 slices if you want to serve them as appetizers.
