Strasbourg Salad

Instructions

  • 1.   Cook the potatoes in water (35 minutes) or steam them (20 to 25 minutes). Let them cool and peel them. Cut them into pieces.
  • 2.   Poach the sausages in boiling water for 5 minutes or microwave them in their packaging for 15 seconds at full power.
  • 3.   Cut the sausages, green olives, and pickles into slices, and add them to the potatoes.
  • 4.   Season with salt and pepper, and pour the vinegar. Mix and let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • 5.   Meanwhile, mix the mayonnaise, cream, mustard, oregano, and chopped shallot, and pour this sauce over the potatoes.
  • 6.   Gently mix.
  • 7.   Keep it slightly chilled.

  • 1 tablespoon of green olive
  • 6 Strasbourg sausages
  • 2 tablespoon of vinegar
  • 4 tablespoon of mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoon of sour cream
  • 2 tablespoon of mustard
  • 1 pinch of dried oregano
  • 1 shallot
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
