Lemon Brownie

Usually enjoyed with chocolate for dessert, we're trying the tangy version by making a lemon brownie! Still just as moist, try this super easy recipe that will certainly please the whole family. To top it off, a lemon glaze, and a few slices + zest for decoration. A fresh, fruity, sunny recipe, to be discovered step by step in the following instructions!

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 350°F. Zest the lemons and squeeze the juice. Melt the butter.
  • 2.   Mix the eggs and lemon juice. Mix the sugar with the lemon zest. Add the flour, salt, and melted butter, then the egg and lemon mixture.
  • 3.   Pour the batter into a greased and lined square pan and bake for 30 minutes at 350°F. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool.
  • 4.   Prepare the glaze: mix the lemon juice with the powdered sugar gradually until you obtain a slightly thick texture. It should not be liquid.
  • 5.   Pour the glaze over the cake (you can flip it over to make it flat) and spread it to create a thin layer. Let the glaze dry. Decorate the cake.
  • 6.   And there you have it! Your lemon brownie is ready!

  • 4 eggs
  • 180 g of flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 220 g of butter
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 100 g of powdered sugar
