. Wash and slice the zucchini. Cook them in boiling water for about 15 minutes.

. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

. Spread the cooked zucchini at the bottom of a gratin dish or a tart pan.

. Beat the eggs, add nutmeg, 10 cl (1/2 cup) of heavy cream, salt, pepper, and pour the mixture over the zucchini.

. Bake for 25 minutes until the top is lightly golden.
Notes & Suggestions
You can also add diced ham or grated gruyère cheese...

I modified the recipe a bit, replaced the cream with skimmed milk, added 2 tablespoons of cornstarch, and added grated cheese as noted.
