Easy Stuffed Tomatoes

Stuffed tomatoes are treasures from our childhood that remind us of the taste of good things and family meals, in the sun or despite the rain.

Instructions

  • 1.   Peel and chop the onions. Peel and chop the garlic cloves.
  • 2.   Put half of the onions in the sausage meat. Add the garlic, salt, pepper, and a little parsley.
  • 3.   Cut the tops off the tomatoes and hollow them out. Season the inside with salt and pepper. Fill them with the stuffing and put the tops back on.
  • 4.   Put the remaining onions in a dish with the tomato pulp.
  • 5.   Place the stuffed tomatoes in the dish. Sprinkle with a little thyme and put a knob of butter on each tomato. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 1 hour.
  • 6.   Serve with rice.

  • 4 tomatoes
  • 3 onions
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 stalk of thyme
  • 10 g of butter
  • salt (according to taste)
