Express Light Tomato Sauce

When you come home late from work and want a good plate of pasta with tomato sauce without going overboard on calories... You can use it for other preparations (bolognese, pizza...)

Instructions

  • 1.   Sauté the minced onion in olive oil in a saucepan.
  • 2.   When it is lightly golden, add a small can of tomato paste and the contents of the can of water.
  • 3.   Mix and add crushed garlic.
    Sauté for a few moments over low heat
    (Be careful not to let it burn)
  • 4.   Add crushed tomatoes, juice, herbs, bay leaf, salt, and pepper.
    Simmer over low heat for 15 minutes.
  • 5.   Serve over pasta with grated Parmesan.

  • ½ onions
  • 1 crushed tomato
  • 1 small tomato paste
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 leaf of bay leaf
  • ½ teaspoon of Provence herb
  • 3 teaspoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of powdered sugar
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
