Instructions

  • 1.   Heat olive oil in a saucepan, add shredded cabbage, diced potatoes, and lentils, and mix in the oil for 3 minutes. Add minced garlic and sliced chili peppers, and two minutes later add the spices. Continue cooking for another five minutes, stirring to coat everything well with oil.
  • 2.   Add the broth, bring to a boil, and season. Simmer for 20 minutes or until the lentils are cooked.
  • 3.   Stir in lemon juice and zest, check the seasoning, and serve.

  • 500 g of white cabbage
  • 500 g of potato
  • 250 g of dry lentil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 chili pepper
  • 2 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • 1 bouillon cube
  • 1 untreated lemon
