Spaghetti Bolognese

Instructions

  • 1.   Peel the onions, garlic, and carrot. Finely slice all the vegetables.
  • 2.   Sweat the onions and garlic in oil. Then add the carrot and let it cook on low heat for 5 minutes.
  • 3.   Add the meat and let it brown.
  • 4.   Once the meat has a nice color, add the peeled tomatoes, tomato paste, and broth.
  • 5.   Reduce the heat, cover, and let it simmer for 1/2 hour. Season with salt and pepper.
  • 6.   Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Drain and distribute onto plates.
  • 7.   Pour Bolognese sauce over each plate, sprinkle with basil leaves, and serve.

Notes & Suggestions

  • The leftover sauce can be stored in a container. Parmesan cheese can be added to garnish the pasta.

  • 800 g of canned peeled tomato
  • 1 cup of tomato paste
  • 100 ml of meat broth
  • 3 onions
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 4 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 bag of grated parmesan (optional)
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
  • parsley (according to taste)
