Salmon Rolls with Goat Cheese and Asparagus

Instructions

  • 1.   INSTRUCTIONS:

    - ⚠️♨️ Microwave the cheese for 30 seconds to soften it.
    - Mix well with lemon juice until creamy.
    - Place plastic wrap on the work surface and place a slice of salmon on it.
    - Generously spread the fresh cheese.
    - Add an asparagus in the middle and roll the slice around it.
    - Wrap it in plastic wrap.
    - 😴❄️ Place in the refrigerator for 3 hours.
    - Unwrap and sprinkle the roll with sesame seeds.
    - ⚠️🔪 Cut into slices about 1 cm thick using a serrated knife.
  • 2.   SERVING & TASTING:

    - Present the rolls on a plate.
    - 🍽️ Enjoy immediately and serve cold.
    - 🍷 Pair with red wine (Rhône Valley / Loire Valley)

Notes & Suggestions

  • Choose canned asparagus as they are already cooked.
    If not, steam them until tender.
  • Choose white and/or black sesame seeds.
  • Try with spreadable cheeses (such as Boursin).
  • Add 1 tablespoon of milk to the cheese to make it creamier.
