Chocolate Cake with 0 sugar and low glycemic index

Chocolate Cake #lowglycemicindex #nosugaradded #glutenfree #butterfree but not lacking in taste. In addition, it is 100% healthy and light, made in 5 minutes and approved by my children, my better half, and my mother who came for lunch that day. The sugar is provided by the chocolate and the applesauce, so there is no need to add any. I think I will make it again often because it is really delicious, moist, and melt-in-your-mouth, a delight for the taste buds.

Instructions

  • 1.   For 6 people:
    - 150g of dark chocolate 65% (or preferably 70%)
    - 50g of fine almond powder
    - 150g of unsweetened applesauce
    - 3 eggs
    - 2 tbsp of hazelnut oil
    - 1/2 tsp of baking soda
  • 2.   ⃣ Mix almond powder, baking soda, and applesauce, then add the eggs one by one. Add the oil.
  • 3.   2⃣ Gently melt the chocolate and pour it into the mixture.
  • 4.   3⃣ Pour into a round silicone mold with a diameter of 18cm or a loaf pan. Bake for 20 minutes at 185°C. Check the doneness, the knife should come out just dry.
  • 5.   Wait for complete cooling before removing from the mold.
    Enjoy without feeling guilty.
