9 | Ginger Sautéed Chicken

Instructions

  • 1.   Slice the chicken into strips. Peel the carrots and cut them into matchsticks. Peel the ginger and cut it into thin slices. Peel the onion and cut it into thin slices. Peel and crush the garlic.
  • 2.   Heat the oil in a wok. When it is hot, add the onions, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for a few minutes.
  • 3.   Add the chicken strips. Mix regularly for a few minutes, until it is well seared and golden.
  • 4.   Add the carrots. Mix regularly again. Season with salt. Add sugar and stir to lightly caramelize the meat. The meat should not stick: add half a glass of water if needed.
  • 5.   Reduce the heat. Add the soy sauce. Mix and let it cook for another 4 minutes on low heat.

  • 2 tablespoon of oil
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 10 g of fresh ginger
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 tablespoon of soy sauce

    It was very good and easy to make. I replaced the ginger with vegetarian peppers.

    Exotic dish with harmonious and balanced flavors. It seems to me that the sugar is missing in the ingredients, I added 2 tablespoons for 2 of soy sauce. Do not add too much salt as the soy sauce is already salty.
