Cauliflower gratin

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • 2.   Separate the cauliflower into florets. Peel the potatoes. Cook the cauliflower and potatoes for 5 minutes in a pressure cooker or 15 minutes in boiling water. In a bowl, mix the cream and egg. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  • 3.   Butter an ovenproof dish. Then arrange the cauliflower, sliced potatoes, and bacon. Pour the mixture over everything. Sprinkle grated cheese on top of the gratin. Then bake for 15 minutes. Finish cooking by broiling to brown the surface of the gratin.

  • 50 g of grated Gruyère cheese
  • 50 cl of thick sour cream
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pinch of salt and pepper
