Leek and Curry Galettes with Basmati Rice

Instructions

  • 1.   Slice the leeks and steam them.
  • 2.   Cook the rice according to the package instructions.
  • 3.   Whisk the eggs with the buckwheat flour and spices, then add the leeks and cold rice. Season with salt and pepper.
  • 4.   Heat olive oil in a pan and cook the mixture in the form of patties, similar to a burger patty. Cook on both sides.
  • 5.   Mix the cheese with mustard, and season with salt and pepper.
  • 6.   Serve the warm galettes with the cold sauce and a salad.

  • 240 g of basmati rice
  • 4 eggs
  • 40 g of buckwheat flour
  • 2 teaspoon of curry powder
  • 3 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • 1 olive oil
  • Sauce blanche :
  • 5 tablespoon of sheep's milk white cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of whole grain mustard
  • 1 green salad
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
